Using blogs as a teaching tool in a primary school is definitely an interesting way to attract students' participation in learning. I am sure students would be excited when they are given the chance to use computer to learn instead of just listening to what teacher said in class. With the blog, they can even respond and ask questions anytime and anywhere outside the classroom. According to the teaching blog of Ms Zoe Chan, students responded actively in the blog and the left many comments on it. This shows that using blog in teaching initiates their response inside and outside classroom. The development of learning initiatives is really priceless and would help enormously in teaching and learning.
It may be too soon to start using blog for my little P1 class but I am sure my P6 class would love to try it out. I guess putting it into practice would be the best way for me to see the effect of a blog and the problem that it may arise. Let's wait and see!
I find an interesting picture from Google, and I would like to share with you.
