Session 3 : reflection

In this session, we tried to use Google Form and Hot Potatoes to make some tasks. I think using the Google Form to create a quiz for my students is really useful for my work.

Students are bored with the 'traditional' form of assessment in the classroom. With Google Form, teacher can create a quiz online. Students definitely prefer using computer to writing on paper, making it a more enjoyable way of having an assessment. Teacher can also check the answers of the students with the statistic data, which saves effort in marking and data analysis.

With the online assessment platform, more cartoon characters or even animations can be included so as to make it more attractive to students.This can raise their interest in learning which in turn enhance the effectiveness of the assessment.

I hope my students will start to enjoy the quiz next time, just like the minion.
